- Well, for example, I buy a Zeos system with builtin SCSI, a little over
- a year later I hook up a Syquest EZ135. I find that the termination power

- Huh What? No support for >1YR. Okay, call Syquest, any way to disable

- I like my Zeos, and I like my Syquest, but the companies hire
- morons for tech support. If you want to talk to an engineer, its almost
- impossible. They hide due to the screaming moron customer syndrome
- (probably something about finding out that their Packard Bell modem is
- a piece of crap or finding some way to hook the parallel port to the
- modem and blowing one or the other).
-
- In my experience, if you are not a high end customer, if you have a
- question which isn't on the FAQ list for customer service, you are
- going to pay hell to try to talk to someone who knows what is what.

- (on the other hand, net.reps seem to be a cut above the phone support,
- if you can talk to them)
